Fear of consequences can be a mighty powerful motivator - particularly after a loss. Nobody wants to run gassers or stadiums because they didn't perform up to a certain standard in the game. After going through a rough stretch and several consecutive losses, that fear can easily fade. For Florida State, who is off to their worst start in over 30 years, that fear fading, and more specifically failure, is not an option.
