MORGANTOWN--Eighteenth-ranked West Virginia will break from pre-Gator Bowl preparations on Wednesday, Dec. 23, in order for the players to spend Christmas with their families.

When they return to pre-bowl practice in Jacksonville, Fla., Dec. 27, reserves Franchot Allen and Guesly Dervil will not have far to travel. Allen, a safety, is a product of local Trinity Christian and Dervil was a team captain at nearby Ed White High. Both are seniors.
