UCLA run over Rams
UCLA took care of business Tuesday night beating the Colorado St. Rams by twelve points, 75 to 63 after being tied 44 all at the end of the first half. UCLA went on a 29 to 9 run starting half way through the second half to put the Rams away. The Bruins lead by 14 points with 54 seconds left in the game before finally winning by 12.
The first half was a poorly played game by the Bruins with them committing 12 turnovers to Colorado State's five and having eight assists to the Ram's nine. The Bruins shot 44.4 percent from the floor in the first half to the Ram's 45.2 percent UCLA played the second half much better and won their fourth game against seven losses in the pre-Pac 10 season.
UCLA was led in scoring by Nikola Dragovic with 17 points on 5 for 8 shooting and 2 for 4 from the three-point line. He also racked up seven boards to continue his solid rebounding. Malcolm Lee got 16 points and hit three for five three pointers, along with seven rebounds and six assists. Reeves Nelson scored 15 points and added six boards, shooting 6 for 8 from the floor. Jerime Anderson finished with 12 points on 4 for 5 shooting, along with seven assists. Michael Roll got 11 points and Brendan Lane picked up four points and five rebounds in just nine minutes. The Bruins ended up shooting 60 percent in the second half while limiting the Rams to just 36 percent.
