Mississippi State hopes to return to its winning ways today traveling to Gainsville to take on Florida.
The Bulldogs have dropped three of their last four contests with all three losses coming on the road. Today's game with the Gators is set for a 12:47 p.m. tipoff.
MSU has won two straight in the series including a 68-59 win at the O'Connell Center last year but Florida holds the overall advantage 56-47. The two teams have split the last 10 meetings 5-5.
The Bulldogs enter today's game with a 16-6 overall record and a 4-3 mark within the Southeastern Conference. State is shooting 43.6-percent from the field and lead the conference in 3-pointers made per game with 8.95 treys. They also continue to pace the league in most defensive categories including scoring defense (61.7), field goal percentage (36.8), blocked shots (8.41), defensive rebounds (29.86)and defensive rebound percentage (71.6).
