Notebook: Most of team returning
OKLAHOMA CITY --- The prognosis, once murky, has started to clear. Adam Allen said Thursday there's a good chance he could be return to Florida's basketball program next season.
Allen, who has been sidelined with multiple knee injuries the past two seasons, said doctors have told him he could play again, good news considering he was told this fall that a return to the hardwood was extremely unlikely.
"The last doctor that did my surgery feels there's a good chance I could come back and play with it," Allen said moments after the Gators' 99-92 double-overtime loss to Brigham Young in the NCAA Midwest Regional. "He said I should start running by June.
