Reluctant fullback drawing praise from coaches, players
While Lonnie Pryor's numbers from Saturday's scrimmage were respectable, they probably won't turn any heads. Nevertheless, head coach Jimbo Fisher didn't hesitate to sing the praises of the rising sophomore when asked about the play of the running backs.
"Lonnie Pryor consistently day in and day out in everything you do, and talent wise and everything he's done he's a really good football player," offered Fisher. "Head and shoulders right now he's one of the best pure football players."
