Vista (Calif.) cornerback Stefan McClure is a competitor. When sorting through his offers this summer, one thing is for sure, the 5-11, 175-pound corner will pay attention to which receivers play in the conferences of his top schools.

While McClure said there are more important things than competition, such as academics -- a school needs to have his intended major of sports medicine -- and the coaching staff, he spoke with a sense that he was ready to run out onto the field and break up a pass if he could.

Is it possible that he will do so in the fall of 2011 on Montlake?
