Breaking down the receivers & tight ends

As we continue to wrap up spring camp with breakdowns of the progress made by each position group, today we take a look at the receiving core, including the tight ends. The receiving group has experience and an abundance of talent, but it is still relatively young. The loss of seniors Damola Adeniji and Taylor Kavanaugh, and the injury-forced retirement of Casey Kjos leaves a lot of playing time open for the younger players.
With only two seniors in Aaron Nichols and James Rodgers, (junior Darrell Catchings was granted a medical hardship for the 2009 season) and an abundance of freshman, there was a lot of instruction that took place with the receivers this spring.
Here's how position groups fared during spring.
