Video: Troy Woolfolk talks about upcoming season
Michigan cornerback Troy Woolfolk earned his third varsity letter last year, starting all 12 games although he split time between cornerback and safety. Despite the position changes, Woolfolk put up his best season to date: tallying 46 tackles and one pass breakup.
Woolfolk is being counted on as a senior leader this year, as he returns to man the cornerback position, and was one of three Wolverines to join head coach Rich Rodriguez at the Big Ten Football Kickoff, held Aug. 2-3 in Chicago, Ill. The Wolverine sat down with Woolfolk for a few minutes during the conference media days, getting the inside scoop on seven-on-seven drills, some insight into the young defensive backs and the Sugar Land, Texas native also gives his thoughts on the quarterback battle.
