Game Up Close: Iowa State vs. K-State
Two of teams that looked shaky a week ago will carry a sack of still-looming questions into Arrowhead Stadium, when Kansas State and Iowa State get together in Kansas City this Saturday. Doubt still hovers over each squad's defense, making the Big 12 season opener a game that could reset expectations going forward. For the Cyclones, a squad that has looked downright inept against the run, Wildcat running back Daniel Thomas may represent the biggest offensive threat it will see in 2010, while K-State, which faltered against the pass in week two, will have its hands full with dual-threat quarterback Austen Arnaud.
