Mississippi State (3-2) enters tonight's contest against Houston (3-1) seeking to extend their winning streak to three games.
The Bulldogs leave the friendly confines of home for just the second time this season to travel to the Lone Star State for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
Houston prevailed in the 2009 meeting in Starkville taking advantage of four Bulldog turnovers and racked up 553 yards of offense in a 31-24 fourth quarter comeback victory.
The Cougars lead the overall series 9-6 and hold a 4-3 record playing inside Robertson Stadium against MSU.
The Bulldogs offense enters tonight's game averaging 392.6 yards and 28.6 points per game. State is accumulating 220.2 yards through the air and adding an additional 172.4 yards on the ground a contest.
