Nebraska-bound quarterback Bubba Starling of Gardner (Kan.) Gardner-Edgerton had 31 carries for a school-record 396 yards and five touchdowns in a state semifinal loss last weekend. Starling, who also was named the No. 1 prep baseball player by Baseball America, was one of the offensive stars scouted in person by Rivals.com last weekend.
