Audio: Selby remains positive, upbeat
TULSA, OKLA -- To say Josh Selby's first year as of member of the University of Kansas men's basketball hasn't gone as planned would be an understatement. The 6-foot-2, 183-pound guard from Baltimore, Md., was forced to miss the first nine games of the season for taking impermissible benefits. Selby, in his debut against USC, scored a career-high 21 points and hit the game winning shot in the closing seconds of the contest. However, since that time, an injury to his foot has prevented Selby from having the type of impact he expected to have following his performance against the Trojans. On Thursday afternoon, Selby spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his role the remainder of the season.
