Bulldogs adjust practice routine
Mississippi State had adjusted its weekly practice schedule due to the bye week and will end up with some extra practice time.
This afternoon the Bulldogs cut practice around 20-minutes shorter than their usual Tuesday practice but when the week ends it will all even out to normal.
"We are coming off the bye week so we're kind of a day ahead of how we do things so it was a little bit more like a Wednesday practice today," said MSU head coach Dan Mullen. "We did our full padded practice yesterday and tomorrow will be a shorter bonus practice that we'll get to clean some things up and then a regular schedule on Thursday."
Mullen made a quarterback switch during their last game against South Carolina electing to go with sophomore [db]Tyler Russell the entire way and left senior Chris Relf on the sidelines. MSU has yet to name a starter for Saturday's game at Kentucky but Mullen mentioned that both could potentially play.
