Ducks land commit at O-D Bowl
The Oregon Ducks are becoming a school known for producing top tight ends. For the Class of 2012 they have scored again. After gaining the commitment of 4-star TE prospect Evan Baylis in May, the Ducks struck again, this time during the Offense-Defense Bowl as Pharaoh Brown announced his commitment to Oregon during the game.
"I announced mid-third quarter, a bit after halftime," Brown told Duck Sports Authority following the game. "I wasn't really nervous, it kind of went smooth." It was not a game day decision for the Lyndhurst Ohio standout. "I made my decision about two weeks ago."
Though Brown took his official visit to Eugene the weekend of November 18th, Oregon's lone Pac-12 loss, the result did not change his opinion. "It was nice, the people up there and the academics, facilities, and coaching staff," said I like how they utilize their tight ends and think I'm a better fit [for the offense]. It was just a beautiful place."
