Only left tackle LaAdrian Waddle earned a First or Second Team All-Big 12 award from Texas Tech's 2011 football team.

But the consensus is the Red Raiders have improved across the board and Tech should have a better showing both on the scoreboard and in postseason recognition than a year before as the program strives to get back into the upper half of the Big 12 Conference.
