Texas safety has ties to Eugene

Duck Sports Authority Lewisville (Tex.) Hebron safety Jamal Adams has never been to the University of Oregon but he does have a couple of strong ties to the school. He's friends with two current members of the football team and that's a reason for his interest in the Pac-12 school.
Duck Sports Authority caught up with the 6-foot-1, 195-pound safety over the weekend to talk about his interest in Oregon and how the recruiting process has gone so far.
While Adams doesn't have a verbal offer from Oregon yet he does claim offers from Texas, Nebraska and Notre Dame, among others.
