BRENHAM, Texas -- Last week Sooner commit Austin Bennett and his Manvel Maverick teammates opened up the 2012 campaign on the road and SCOOPHD was there.

Looking to build off a junior season in which the 6-foot, 170-pound receiver caught 41 receptions for 772 yards and six touchdowns before falling to Aledo in the class 4A Division II state championship.



Bennett is a three-star recruit and the No. 61 ranked wide receiver prospect in the country.
