Foreman's Family All-In With Oklahoma?
For some time Texas City, Texas' Armanti Foreman had admitted he grew up a fan of the Florida Gators so when the 2014 wide receiver made his commitment to Oklahoma recently it wasn't met with quite the shock of someone who might have grown up following the in-state Longhorns. However, while Foreman wasn't particularly a Texas fan, that's not to say that those close to him weren't.
In fact, the 5-foot-11, 175-pound speedster's closest confidante came into Oklahoma and Texas' annual grudge match as a big Texas fan. That may not have changed but it's safe to assume his father left with a more positive view of the Sooners.
"I mean my dad, he liked it, he loved the atmosphere. He talked to me about it and he was asking if I could see myself playing in a game like that," Foreman recalled. "My dad is really a big Texas fan, but he told me if I'm going to Oklahoma, that's going to be his school. He really does like Texas even he said he felt like Texas didn't play to their potential, but he really loved everything about OU, the fans, the players, they just played a great game. Even my brother (D'Onta Foreman) was wowed by the whole thing."
