ATTACK


Defending the pass hasn't been a strong suit for the Yellow Jackets this season. Georgia Tech ranks 82nd nationally in pass efficiency defense and most offenses with legitimate passing games have been able to throw the ball at will. In losses to Miami and Clemson, the Jackets' defense surrendered 436 and 397 yards, respectively, through the air. Junior safety Jemea Thomas leads the secondary with three interceptions and six pass break-ups. face="Verdana">Senior EJ Manuel had arguably the worst outing of his career last week against the Gators throwing three interceptions. Nevertheless, he has had a solid senior season and ranks eighth in the country in passing efficiency. Speedy sophomore Rashad Greene has come on the past few weeks with TDs in three of the last four games. The whole receiving corps is very deep and is aided by tight end Nick O'Leary, who is also a proficient pass catcher. At 6'6", freshman phenom Kelvin Benjamin is also a huge weapon.
