Florida State (11-2) will wrap up the 2012 season on Tuesday night in the Discover Orange Bowl. The 'Noles are looking to notch their 12th win of the season and secure the school's first BCS bowl victory since the 2001 national championship game.

Standing in FSU's way is BCS Cinderella Northern Illinois (11-1) from the Mid-American Conference. Much to the chagrin of most college football fans and media the Huskies were able to sneak into a major bowl because of a qualifying rule for BCS bowls. That rule allows one team from a non-automatic qualifying conference to get into a BCS bowl if it is ranked in the top 16 and is also higher ranked than a conference champion (Louisville) from a qualifying conference (Big East).
