QB Ulmer thrilled to be a Terp
On the lookout for a dual-threat gunslinger who is equally adept inside and outside the pocket, the Terps snapped up their man on April 25. Maryland has had an offer out to Washington (D.C.) St. John's quarterback William Ulmer for over a year, and while the four-star recruit's profile has risen considerably since then, he opted to stick with his hometown school.
"I'm a Terp - hometown love," said Ulmer, the 10th rated quarterback prospect in the nation, according to Rivals. "This is great; I'm in a great situation right now. I want to thank all my family, my coaches and my teammates. This is just amazing."
