Future backcourt mates square off in Atlanta
Last Sunday morning in Atlanta, future Alabama guards Rico Pickett and Senario Hillman met for the first time on and off the court as their two teams battled in the Wallace Prather Memorial tournament.
Pickett participated in the event with his AAU team, the Southeast Elite, and the 6-foot-4, 170-pound combo guard was pleased not only with his own play, but that of soon-to-be running mate's as well.
"I had a good tournament," Pickett said. "We made a nice run and got put out on Sunday, but we are playing better together. The highlight for me was playing against Senario. I had heard a lot about him and wanted to see what he was like since we would be playing together. We played Sunday morning and I scored 21 points and we won by 21 so that was good."
