HaSheem Thabeet has become a hot commodity since it was learned that he intended to be part of the 2006 class. Thabeet, who averaged 13.8 points and 10.5 rebounds for Cypress Community Christian last season, has taken two official visits with a third planned for this week. Thabeet first visited Connecticut and followed that up with a trip to Cincinnati. With two trips down, a third official visit is set for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The 7-foot-2, 260-pound big man has seen his recruitment continue to become more intense in recent weeks. Schools such as Oklahoma, Texas, Miami and Oklahoma State are recruiting the fast rising prospect.
