Big man, big offer

Hallandale, Fla., offensive lineman Kevin Bryant is a player that defies dimensions.


Standing 6-foot-6 in socks, Bryant stunned onlookers at the NIKE Camp with his massive 372-pound frame. But that was as a sophomore.


After trimming down to 350-pounds last fall, he bulked back up. Tipping the scales at 380-pounds, Bryant is a can't miss prospect - literally.


If bigger is better, Bryant is the best offensive lineman USC has ever recruited. Whether that holds true or not, the Trojans have decided that Bryant is good enough to play for the Cardinal and Gold.


Earlier this month, USC Head coach, Pete Carroll, made a visit South Florida to see Bryant cast his shadow over the Sunshine State. After the workout, Bryant called Trojan running backs coach, Todd McNair, for a review of his performance.
