Rivals100 back talks about camping at Florida
The No. 1 rated all-purpose back in the nation, Armando Allen out of Hialeah, Fla., Miami Lakes spent the better part of the past five days in Gainesville getting to know the Gator coaching staff, players and several of the other top prospects on the board.
The 5-foot-9, 181-pound back, who is the No. 34 rated prospect on the Rivals100, spoke with GatorBait.net about the experience.
Allen arrived on campus for Junior Day on Saturday and stayed for the first session of camp which ran through Wednesday.
"It was nice there," said Allen. "On Saturday they showed us around the campus and I got to meet some of the top recruits Florida's recruiting. The coaches are great guys. I paid close attention to how they treat their players. I wanted to see what the atmosphere around the team is like."
