Given all the time we had to watch the number of Indiana targets at the Nike
Camp last weekend in Indianapolis, it makes sense to go ahead and provide you
with player profiles for these prospects. So we have put together eight
profiles that take a look at how each player looked at IUPUI and what kind of
impact each could bring to a high major college program at the next level.

Each player is listed with the official measures by the camp. In the
past Nike has taken player heights with only their socks on. So you may
see some players with a slightly shorter height than they are often listed since
the prevailing choice is to list heights with shoes on nowadays.

Malcolm
Delaney - 6-foot-2, 172-pounds, Towson Catholic H.S., Baltimore, MD

Malcolm had a solid camp in Indianapolis. He wasn't immediately named to
the 24-man senior all-star game but when Nate Miles had to leave early, Delaney
filled in. He did not have the best of all-star games, shooting 1-6 from
the floor.

Rob
Hummel - 6-foot-7, 197-pounds, Valparaiso H.S., Valparaiso, IN

On Sunday Hummel told us he had played some of the best basketball of recent
memory here and he was right. At least up until that point as Sunday was
probably a day to forget. Basically he hit the exhaustion wall. But
his play up until that day was enough for many to put him among the top 10
players overall at the camp. His performance was night and day versus a
year ago. Last year he was passive and shot little but this year he was much
more aggressive shooting and handling the ball and had a better team situation
around him. Have often thought his range kind of tapped out at 18 to 19
feet but he showed much more consistency with jumpers beyond the arc last week.
Hummel is great at making simple plays with the ball that set up teammates.
Whether you want to call him a point forward or a point guard, he is someone you
want with the ball.

Solomon
Alabi - 7-foot-0, 224-pounds, Montverde Academy, Montverde, FL

With his amazing 9-foot-1 reach, Alabi is quite an intimidator inside.
Not quite as good of instincts with the blocks as you like but just too long for
many too shoot over. Despite his size Alabi likes to step out and shoot
the jumper. He has a decent touch with it but his college coach will want
to limit this a bit. Many times he will try a turnaround jumper from about
12-14 feet and throw up an airball. Those are things that bring out the
"raw" label that fits him right now. That plus a habit of walking with the ball
that many big men must overcome.
