Strickland enjoyed UGA Camp
About as year ago Tanner Strickland was getting ready to begin his junior year. He decided to camp at the University of Georgia in July and impressed the coaching staff enough to pick up an offer. Around the first of August, Strickland became the first Bulldog commitment of the 2007 class. He decided to go back to Athens this July for the big Bulldog camp as well.
"This year I knew what was going on, so I knew what to expect. I was looking more at the competition and talking to recruits instead of worrying what was next."
Strickland knows he has improved over the past year, but he also knows he could get better before arriving in Athens.
"I have gotten a lot stronger, but my footwork still needs some work. I might could lose a little weight too, but I have gotten a lot better."
This 6-foot-4 mobile OL weighed in at 320-pounds on Friday and he would like to drop a few of those before the season starts.
