Bucks hope Boom is dynamite
The last time Ohio State dipped into the Youngstown area for a top-notch tailback, the Buckeyes came out with a national championship but also with a major headache.
They are likely hoping things go smoother this time around.
The Buckeyes secured a verbal commitment from Youngstown's Warren Harding High School last week when three-star tailback announced that he would become a Buckeye.
The last tailback to come out of Warren Harding? Maurice Clarett.
After earning all-district, all-county and honorable mention all-state honors following the season, Herron was courted by a host of Big Ten schools as well as Notre Dame.
Herron narrowed down his list of schools to Ohio State and Michigan but canceled a planned trip up north July 10, instead informing the OSU coaching staff of his decision.
