More of Moore?
All-Americans aren't made on the first day of fall camp, but for sophomore Kyle Moore, becoming USC's starting weakside defensive end begins with a review of the basics.
His quest to sit atop the Trojans' depth chart was just a dream two years ago. However, as four-star standout in high school, Moore's dreams were fueled by ambition.
Before stepping a foot on campus, the Georgia native had his first two seasons at USC planned out.
"I - at least - want to get into the rotation," said Moore a month after signing day. "I want to get some playing time as a freshman, and then as a sophomore, compete for a starting job.
"I mean, if I can get it (playing time) right away, I will, but my goal isn't really to start. The d-ends they have coming back from last year started in the national championship game, so it would be pretty hard to get them out of their spot. My real goal is to win a job as a sophomore."
