Quite some time ago Bethesda (Md.) Walt Whitman linebacker Pat Lazear said he had narrowed things down to Ohio State and Alabama.

He has stopped short of saying the Buckeyes are his favorite, however Lazear's father made it clear who is at the top of his son's list.

Harry Lazear, who is an assistant coach at Walt Whitman, said both the Buckeyes and Tide continue to stay in touch with his son.
