Moore: Suspension won't hold back offense

Wide receiver Ryan Moore won't say exactly why he was suspended for the Peach Bowl last year and the first two games this season, but he does say, "I understand what I did, I understand the consequences. What they gave me, whether it was fair or not, I knew what it was before I did it.

"It's behind me. I'm just trying to get done with it. I take responsibility. It's difficult right now for me. I'm trying to put it behind me a little bit."

Of what he's learned, Moore says, "The main thing is just things are going to happen in your life. It's what you do from this point."

Moore says he knew last year that he would miss the first two games this season.

He could have opted for the NFL Draft, but says he had unfinished business at UM.

"(The suspension is) the reason I did come back, one of them," he said. "I didn't want to go out like that. I have a lot to accomplish, a lot to still do on this level. I didn't want to leave like that. I wanted to come back to help this team, leave a better mark.

"I feel like I've had an alright career, but not the career I've wanted to at this point."
