Browder moves up to first team
Senior Chris Browder began two-a-days as the favorite to be Auburn's starting defensive tackle. But with the emergence of several of the Tigers younger tackles this fall, Browder was moved back to his more natural defensive end position.
After the move, it was just assumed that Browder would settle into a backup role at strongside end behind returning starter, and fellow senior, Marquies Gunn.
But that assumption turned out wrong.
"(Browder) has had the best two-a-days since he's been here," said Auburn defensive ends coach Terry Price. "We'll reward those guys that are out there practicing every day. If you've been out there every day busting your butt you deserve to be first-team."
