Petrino: Freshmen will see playing time

CardinalSports.com Just months after landing the highest-ranked recruiting class in school history, Louisville coach Bobby Petrino believes several of his new freshman class can help the No. 13-ranked Cardinals this season. U of L will face rival Kentucky Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. (ESPN) and as many as five freshmen could be on the field.
"Somewhere between 3-5," Petrino said when asked about his freshman class playing this season. "Definitely Peanut Whithead will play, definitely Latarrius Thomas will play, definitely Anthony Allen, and then we probably have a couple more. Aundre Henderson and Rodney Gnat, we'll see how the week goes and how they improve. But I think as the year goes on, we haven't made a decision on whether we redshirt those guys "
