Carthage junior is one to watch

Orangebloods.com The Carthage Bulldogs are all smiles after a 2-0 start to the 2006 season. Carthage got its season going zero week by beating rival Henderson, 21-0, and followed that up with a 42-14 win over Kirbyville. The fast start by the Bulldogs was expected with the return of six starters on both sides of the ball from a 7-5-area finalist team in 2005.
One of the keys to the fast start for Carthage is junior linebacker Rodney Chadwick>. The 6-foot-2, 189-pound speedy linebacker is coming off of a stellar sophomore season that ended with a first-team all-district selection as well as defensive newcomer of the year.
Chadwick lists Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Nebraska as early favorites.
