Secondary, special teams fail
In how many different languages can you say "that one hurt"? Boston College inexplicably let North Carolina State drive 72 yards in less than 35 seconds for a game winning touchdown, as the Eagles lost 17-15. It was a game where the Eagles played to the level of their opponent, and in the end paid for it dearly.
The loss moves B.C. out of 1st place in the ACC Atlantic Division. Coming into the N.C. State game, the Eagles controlled their own destiny for the rest of the season in their division. Believe it or not, the Eagles still control their own destiny, but now they can't really afford any more stumbles along the way. After their performance last night, maybe everyone should stop talk of a possible ACC title.
