Is Lee ready for prime time?
What does the Rice win prove?
It's hard to know how much weight to place Florida State's 55-7 drubbing over a winless Rice team. After three underachieving efforts by the Seminole offense, and a running game that was ranked second to last in Division 1, it had to be refreshing for fans, coaches and players to see FSU pile up 55 points and 500 yards against the Owls.
As impressive as the numbers look on paper, it's hard to know whether it was a case of Rice's defense being every bit as poor as the NCAA stats indicate (110 out of 119 in total defense) or whether it was a legitimate step forward for the Seminole offense.
