Bolden 'almost misses' a career catch vs. UCONN
EAST HARTFORD, Conn.-Heretofore, senior wide receiver Rayshawn Bolden was used about like a battering ram to block downfield for running back Steve Slaton and quarterback Pat White.
But Friday before an announced crowd of 40,000 at Rentschler Field, Bolden had a coming out night when he latched onto three passes for 95 yards, one of which went for a 52-yard touchdown pass.
The interesting part about Bolden's big play in the fourth quarter was that he . . . almost missed it. He was in the locker room taking care of some business, according to head coach Rich Rodriguez.
