Beason practices, could provide boost on Sat.
Earlier this week coach Larry Coker said linebacker Jon Beason was doubtful for the weekend's game at Georgia Tech with a knee injury.
Beason initially injured the knee against FIU Oct. 14 and was expected to miss three weeks.
But he practiced today, and Coker said, "He is coming along fast. He looked like he hadn't missed a beat."
Beason is not expected to start, but he will travel with the team and play.
It's expected the team will start Glenn Cook and Tavares Gooden at outside linebacker with Darryl Sharpton in the middle. When Beason is in the game the team can move Cook to the middle.
