Celebrating Thanksgiving (By Jim Lamar, Osceola)



Florida State assistant coaches Jody Allen and John Lilly celebrated
Thanksgiving the way they always do -- by eating chicken wings at a
local restaurant.



But for most of the FSU players and coaches, Thursday provided a
chance to get a taste of home, even if that meant importing the cooks.
Freshman quarterback Christian Ponder's family arrived in town on
Wednesday and prepared a Thursday meal in nearby Cairo, Ga. Freshman
tight end Caz Piurowski's family and sophomore tailback Pat Davis'
family planned on collaborating on Thursday's meal.
