Junior offensive tackle Tyler Love out of Mountain Brook (AL) made his first-ever trip to Death Valley over the weekend.
"It was lots of fun," Love told Tigerillustrated.com Monday evening. "I enjoyed it. Clemson originally contacted me about the first time they could back in early September. (Wide receivers) coach Dabo Swinney has always wanted me to come up and I decided to because this was the first time I could make it."
Love and his parents - Glen and Karen - drove up Friday night and stayed at a hotel in Commerce, Georgia.
"It was about a three and a half hour drive," he detailed. "The traffic into Clemson was pretty bad on Saturday morning. We got there a little late, but went straight to the recruiting building (West Zone Project)."
