Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley fullback Patrick Dimarco committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks last week without having taken an official visit to Columbia. Over the weekend, the 6-foot-2.5, 225-pound athlete got the chance to take that trip.

"It was awesome," Dimarco said. "I had a great time the whole time I was there."

Dimarco, who racked up 125 tackles, 29 tackles for loss and 17 sacks on defense as senior for his 6-A team, said several things stood out to him.
