The Seminole coaches want to make sure four-star defensive end Rae Sykes knows how important he is to the 2007 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder is scheduled to take his official visit to Florida State this weekend. On Tuesday night, head coach Bobby Bowden, recruiting coordinator John Lilly, and defensive ends coach Jody Allen made the trip to Alcoa, Tennessee for an in-home visit.




"Bobby Bowden visited me today at my house," said Sykes. "He was really cool. It's the second time meeting him, I met him with Brandon (Warren) last year. He tells me he is impressed by me. My parents were impressed by him.
