Prince moves to corner; Gray out for spring

IrishIllustrated.com Notre Dame's cornerback depth didn't change. But its roster at the position just did.
Saturday's practice inside the Loftus Center, the first spring workout that included full pads, featured Munir Prince's move from running back to cornerback and Gary Gray's absence after the early enrollee suffered a broken right forearm a day earlier.
Charlie Weis said he expects Gray to miss the rest of spring practice because the cornerback's arm requires four-to-six weeks to heal. The injury came during Friday's practice when Gray fell on his right arm during one-on-one drills.
"We're just going to hold him for the rest of the spring," said Weis, who added that no surgery was required to set Gray's arm.
