Michigan offers Texas athlete
If last year's haul of three state of Texas prospects for Michigan was not proof enough that the Wolverines were back to recruiting the Lone Star State extensively, then the number of offers put out early to players in that state will be. The Wolverines offered another of Texas' finest Monday afternoon at a position they have not offered many prospects yet in this class.
Weatherford (Tex.) defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore is ranked as one of the top 250 players to watch in the class of 2008 by Rivals.com. The 6-4, 225-pound prospect held 11 offers this weekend, but that number went up to 12 on Monday.
Besides Michigan, Lewis-Moore holds offers from Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Virginia, Baylor, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Minnesota, Duke and Illinois.
