Tigers first to call Brown
Ocean Springs (Miss.) wide receiver DeAndre Brown continues to be one of the more highly-recruited prospects in the Southeast and one SEC West power was the first program to get in touch with him on Sunday, the first day college coaches were allowed to call prospects.
"I just got off the phone with Auburn," Brown said. "(Tigers assistant coach) Don Dunn called. We just caught up and he asked me what I was doing and when spring practice started. He's going to come watch me practice and he's going to bring (Auburn head coach) Tommy Tuberville."
Spring practice starts for Brown one week from Monday.
