Bert Reed anxious to get started
Before he could spend a few minutes talking to reporters following Saturday's Garnet and Gold game, Bert Reed first had to shake the hand of the one Florida State assistant coach who kept recruiting him even
after he committed to another school.
Reed and FSU defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews embraced underneath
the goalposts on Saturday afternoon.
"I can't wait to be here, coach," Reed told Andrews.

The former high school quarterback who starred at Panama City-Bay, Reed re-confirmed on Saturday that he will play receiver at FSU. That was the position he spent a lot of time watching as the Seminoles concluded spring practices with their annual Garnet and Gold game.
