Q&A with Commitment No. 11

Warchant.com On Saturday, Altoona (PA) 5-foot-10, 163-pound athlete A.J. Alexander went ahead and made his commitment to Florida State. On Sunday, Alexander spoke for the first time on his decision.
Q: When did you make up your mind that you were going to commit to Florida State?
A.J. Alexander: I have known before the state (track meet) that I wanted to go there. I had talked to my coach and my mom a couple of times just to make sure I was sure. I wanted to make sure I was serious about it. I am serious about it. I didn't want it to be a distraction to me and the staff down there.
Q: What was the biggest factor in your decision to go ahead and make your commitment?
A.J. Alexander: The people at Florida State are the type of people that I want to be around. The coaches, players, and everybody around there are the type of people I want to be around in college. I also just really wanted the process to be over.
