Gainesville (GA) defensive end Keith Wells was one of several top recruits who made the trip to Chapel Hill this past weekend for UNC's one-day football camp. Wells was able to spend time with Tar Heel head coach Butch Davis and defensive line coach John Blake.

"Me and Coach Blake and Coach Davis; we all met when we first got on campus, and he (Davis) was telling me he was so excited about having me up, and he was excited that I was considering going to North Carolina," Wells said. "He asked me my thoughts about North Carolina, and what I was looking for in a school, and things like that. I mean, I was really excited about it. I was excited about going up there, and I was really excited about spending time with Coach Davis and Coach Blake. I just loved my visit up there,"
