Davis makes a change
Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes athlete Marcus Davis was anticipating drawing double and triple coverage as a wide receiver this year for the Dolphins, but after senior quarterback Dan Pitts went down two weeks ago with a torn knee ligament, the three-star prospect found himself under center.
Davis and Pitts have split time at the position since they both were freshmen.

His top three is Virginia Tech, Penn State and Tennessee.
Davis does not currently hold offers from the three latter schools, but he will be attending the Gators' opener on September 1 against Western Kentucky. He said that Florida is a team that could creep into the picture with an offer.
